Hi, We have 2 WFE + 1 Index + SQL failover Cluster with MOSS 2007 SP2. We are getting tons of the following error while load test or reliability test is going on. However, we are also getting them at no load. There is no set time pattern, but sometimes more than two in ten minutes. Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: Office SharePoint ServerEvent Category: Publishing Cache Event ID: 5538Date: 4/5/2010Time: 5:20:16 PMUser: N/AComputer: WFE nameDescription:An error occured in the blob cache. The exception message was 'Value does not fall within the expected range.'. This is very similar to: http://mysharepointofview.com/2010/01/an-error-occured-in-the-blob-cache-event-id-5538/ However see the difference between the explicit message Mattias got vs. what we are getting. "The exception message was Value does not fall within the expected range". Should I try upgrading to August 2009 cumulative updates or there are any other thoughts? Thanks

Microsoft recommended to TRY August 2009 cumulative update. Due to unique situation of apps on the environment, we will not be able to ty this resolution any time soon.
