BizTalk Server 2010 MP not discovering the BizTalk Servers
Hi We have installed the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 MP. We also found the discovery of Biztalk servers is not happening. When I have logged one of the Biztalk server and found the below warning in the event viewer. Help us to resolve this issue. Try runnign that command line exactly from the command line. See what the error is. It is very likely a permissions problem involving run-as account. If you have not already done so, download the guide and read it and follow the pre-requisite steps to get the MP to discover.Microsoft Corporation

I have exactly the same problem. I have added my run as account to the 2 profiles created when you import the Biztalk pack. The account I have used is a member of the Biztalk Administrators Group and is local administrator on the biztalk servers. I have even logged into the machines as the run as account and run the discovery script manually. I get no output to say whether the script has been run successfully or not. There is no changes in the event logs of the machine either and I am at a loss as to what else this account needs access to in order to run the discovery and monitor my biztalk servers. Any ideas what else I can try?

I have managed to discover the Biztalk components now by making the default health services of my biztalk servers run as the account I had used for the run as profiles. The script was able to execute and has discovered all of the environment. I am still investigating why the run as profiles didnt seem to work for discovery or monitoring.

The discovery did not create any output. This causes this warning message. Typically this tells us you need to set up the run-as profile. Advice is to read the configuration steps for this MP in the associated MP guide.Microsoft Corporation

The default action account will never work for a workload that involves accessing a database. You must follow the instructions outlined in the MP guide and make a new account that has access according to the instructions in the guide.Microsoft Corporation
