Good Day Everyone!!
I have been scratching my head over this issue since long and finally decided to post a question here.
I am from the helpdesk team and we often need to provide the Bitlocker recovery key to our users. We have a multi domain environment and all these users are in a domain called dtc. We have recently taken over their services and all our systems are on Anglo domain. Although I have managed to enable the bitlocker tab in DSA.MSC it still does not show up the recovery key. Below is the error message that I get:
"No Items in this view
To search for a recovery password, right click on the domain object in the tree view, and select "Find Bitlocker recovery Password..."
I ran dsa.msc as a different user with a dtc admin id which actually works while on dtc domain physically but of no use. I am clueless as to what could be the issue. Is it so that our computer needs to be connected on DTC domain?
