Best practices to follow for making SharePoint 2013 on premises version to be available on Internet(Public Facing Sites)

Hi Experts,

I would like to know the best practices to follow and the steps to configure to make SharePoint 2013 onpremises version to be available on internet.

Any articles explaining Step by Step configuration would help.

Hi Ramakrishnan,

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to access the SharePoint library from Internet like www.bing.com. Is it right?

You need to first ensure that you enable Anonymous Access for your web application. You'll then need to set up DNS for the domain you own to point to your web front end server (or virtual IP if it's load balanced). Then set up the appropraite IIS bindings for the web application, and finally you'll need to extend your web application to an Internet Zone and give it the appropriate domain name.
