Best practice for SCE 2010 in multiple sites
Hi! I've got a customer that's planning on putting SCE2010 into production while migrating to Windows 7. SCE2010 is installed and configured, but there are branch offices to consider. Deploying software to these offices over the WAN link would be rather tedious. I see that it is possible to move the WSUS data store to a DFS location (the DFS infrastructure is already set up and replicates to all offices). Would this do any good, or would it still pull everything through the central server. If so, is the only other option to install WSUS downstream-servers in each office? Is this a problem in SCE2010?

Hi, Regarding the question, I think you can refer to: SCE 2010 and downstream WSUS servers http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/systemcenteressentials/thread/37da85da-5b4d-47d3-96a5-33ca4c736f6a Hope this helps.
