Best SSAS client??
Hi Experts,
I was wondering what the most popular/best SSAS client is used in the work environment for reporting? I Know Excel has limited abilities, and i was wondering what better options are out there that support drillthrough, KPI's etc.
Thanks

You can always use Report Builder for creating reports, but its ad-hoc functionality is pretty much reserved.
Panorama is a popular SSAS client which I use in my company and it supports drillthrough, KPI, etc

Panorama is the company which was instrumental in making the engine which powers SSAS and MDX, this technology was sold to Microsoft in the late 90'sCheers,

Hi,
Based on my experience, here is a list of most popular client tools for Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
implementations:
1.
ReportBuilder 2.0 or 3.0.
2.
Excel with office web component,
PivotTables
3.
Dundas also offers a pretty good OLAP /sharepoint integration
4.
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
5.
Proclarity
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
