Hello, I am not that familiar with SharePoint and I have been tasked with finding out the best practices for SharePoint Log archiving and log retention. How long does SharePoint need to keep the logs on the server? We want to archive them off. Also, I am getting a lot of files in this directory, is this related to SharePoint? Are these Temp log files? C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\LOGS\*.* Any help would be greately apprecaited. Thanks, -K
