In my screen appeared from  nowhere an app called BatteryModule.exe  Assert Failure and I don't know if It's something safe or is a threat or malware.

Hi Astridblue,

BatteryModule.exe is not a process or application hosted by Microsoft.

I checked it and found that is part of a product called known as BatteryModule and it is developed by Sony Corporation.

Is there any chance you are using SONY laptop or having such a program installed?

If you are, please contact with program or computer manufacturers for details of this error message.
