Backup of Boot Image with drivers
Hi, I am planning to take the backup of the boot image which is there in SCCM console. I know that by defualt the boot.wim resides under \\Server$\SMS_<Sitecode>\osd\boot\i386\boot.wim. But if i take the backup of this file and import it again to SCCM console it does not show the drivers i have added previously. So is there any way i can export the complete Boot Image with the drivers added?

you will have stored your boot images on your server (the Data Source tab of the boot wim will tell you where you stored it) in addition to the WinPE.wim file you'll see another file called WinPE.XXXyyyyy.wim or similar, the site code will be XXX and the package Id is yyyyy that file should contain your imported drivers *and indeed when you pxe boot the file mentioned at the bottom of the screen is this one) cheers niall My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady
