Hello
I am having an issue whereby a job will not write to tape and gives the error 3315, free tape is not available.
I am trying to understand why DPM thinks the tape is not available.
The retention period on long term is just 1 week and the contents on this particular tape says that all data expired in September. I have tried marking the tape as 'free' but I get an error saying another job has reserved the tape.
NB I have also noticed that if I cancel all jobs the status of the tape drive still says 'in use' even if I turn off the power!
I am wondering if NB needs attention first before I do anything else??
