When building a report using Reporting Services through BIDS everytime I click Preview along with the report the Output window keeps popping up in the bottom third of the page, and I have to manually close it! I have tried minimising, Hide, Auto-Hide but nothing seems to work - the next time I go from Design to Preview it pops up again! Help!

Hi Theroyale, Output window is very useful when you deploy reorts, it tells you whether the project contain error or warming, you need it whenever you deploy the report, here you mentioned "the Output window keeps popping up in the bottom third of the page" it seems the window size is too wide for you, actually you could drag the output window's border to decrease its size to a little narrow.
