BCS - Error in site column which is created using Look up Field External list

I created a site column which is external list look up field .

I again opened the site column I see the following message

Looks like you are missing the "Select in Clients" permissions for the current user in the BCS permissions?  Possibly your credentials from BCS to the data source are not correct?

Hi Chris , 

                   I have given the metadata permissions ,I checked with credentials also they are correct . The current user have rights of farm admin
