I am using InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010.

I have created the ability to auto number my forms once in SharePoint here is my formula which currently works:  max(Ticketno[Facility_x0020_ID = txtFacility]) + 1

My issue comes into play when there is no form within the document library.  How would I add a new form and start the numbering at 1 but also continue the numbering with the same Facility ID in my case?

New:  XX1234

Continuing:  XX1234_1

What are "Facility_x0020_ID" or "txtFacility"?

For producing this issue, provide your library design architecture, like the columns and how to create them. AND also please give a screenshot about your designing InfoPath form. It will make other in the forum easy to find a solution for you.
