Hi,

Are there any clues in PatchDownloader.log located in %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Temp\3 folder?

March 12th, 2015 5:31am

There only is  Patchdownloader.log under

\\SCCMSERVER\C$\Program Files\SMS_CCM\LOGS\Patchdownloader.log

Do you mean this Log?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Hi Garth,

I still have exactly the same Issue ! Still no solution at all. We are currently installing this patch manually which is literally a disaster.

Errors 5 and 64 means "Access is denied" and "The specified network name is no longer available" respectively:

System Error Codes (0-499)

I would start with checking permissions.

He Rolf,

already checked. As we are deploying Update since serveral years now ;)

Kind Regards.

This Error Log is useless the main problem is that SCCM cannot rename the Patch itself. The Patch is downloaded and copied but can not be renamed.

This Error Log is useless the main problem is that SCCM cannot rename the Patch itself. The Patch is downloaded and copied but can not be renamed.

But it can't rename it because it getting access denied.

Have you looked at your AV software, What exclusion have you setup for CM12? Have you temporarily disable your AV and check to see if everything works?

BTW here is a list of AV exclusion for Site server that I use for my clients.
