Auto-Resolve an alert fired by a rule in SCOM 2007 R2 once the  error is resolved
We are using SCOM 2007 R2 to monitor BizTalk 2010. I notice that alerts generated by monitors are automatically resolved and set to Closed once the error is resolved. However, alerts generated by rules are not auto-resolved even when the source for alert is resolved. Is there any way I can set alerts generated by rules also to automatically close when it returns to healthy state, I do not want to specify number of days as the criteria to auto-resolve, rather the source of error returning to healthy as the criteria. This is very critical to meet our project requirements. Appreciate your suggestions and help. Thanks a lot.

Hi, Regarding this, I would like to share the following with you for your reference: Alerts that are raised by the monitors should not be manually resolved in Operations Manager 2007 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979388 Hope this helps.
