Authentication settings for External Web applications in Office SharePoint Server
I have a word document that is required for our website. Currently if a user selects the 'Open' option the are presented with Authentication windows. Cancelling these will display the document, but ity is not a good look. Selecting the 'Save' option works
fine.
I have read a fair bit about this and there are a couple of solutions.
I have tried putting the document in a virtual folder within the same site but this doesn't make any difference
The one I am interested in trying next is switching off Client Integration. Is this a good way and are there any pitfalls.
Does anyone have abetter solution?
