Auditing and Inventory PC's not connected to network
Hi all,Still trying to get me head around various issues in SCCM 2007. Does anybody have some instruction on how to get PC's that are not connected to our corporate network ie home users, road warriors etc into SCCM primarily for software auditing purposes? I am aware that the Internet based connectivity method could be used but many of our users just have a standalone laptop.Any help greatly appreciated.ThanksGary

Thanks for the reply. Are there any offline tools whereby we could get users to bring their laptops audit them and then load them into SCCM? Regards

The correct, long term answer, is to move toward Native mode, so you can support IBCM (Internet Based Client Management). Then it doesn't matter where those clients are--if they can get to the internet, you can manage them.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.
