Auditing Run As Accounts
HiI have some questions from the security team at a client. They are asking about Run As accounts. They are concerned that an account can be created and used and there is no person associated with that account. They believe that all users should have their own account so that they can be audited and traced. I have checked the R2 documentation and looked at a system running in my lab where I have the AD MP run as account doing the replication monitoring tasks as per MP guide. I see that the log shows the service checking the run as accounts but there is no log that I can see which shows what action is being done by each run as account so that the security team can audit it.Anyone come across this before and how to handle it?Ian
