Audience targeting for calendar events
Hi all,Am having an issue with targeting events created in a calendar list to groups in my AD. the following are the steps i have tried out1. I have complied audiences in my ssp2.I have enabled audience setting in the calendar list3. I created sharepoint groups and targeted events to it but all users can still see all the events i create in the calendar.Please any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated.Regards

Hi there,As I understand it, only a web part that understands audience targeting (like a content query web part) will be able filter out individual list items...So, the list view will display all entries irrespective of whether audience settings have been applied unless you use a web part to expose the relevant audience filtering.If it's very important to do filtering on a per list item basis then you should consider setting per item permissions.For more information on how to use audience targeting using web parts see this:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc261830.aspxCheersGeoff
