Attach site collection data from content databases
I have migrated my Sharepoint from a stand-alone installation to a server farm installation by following this article. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262325%28office.12%29.aspx Every step was completed successfully, except for the last one (4): Install Office SharePoint Server 2007 on a new farm Move databases from the stand-alone server to the server farm Create and attach data from the Shared Services Provider (SSP) Attach site collection data from content databases Whenever I try using the stsadm -o extendvs I get the following message: The IIS Web Site you have selected is in use by SharePoint. You must select another port or hostname. The following is the command: STSADM.EXE -o extendvs -url http://dms01 -ownerlogin group\dms -owneremail dms@xxx.com -exclusivelyusentlm -databaseserver jagrb -databasename WSS_Content -apcreatenew -apidname DMS -apidtype configurableid -apidlogin group\dms -apidpwd xxxx So far, all my efforts to Attach the site collection data from the content databases have failed. Any ideas?
