Assigning Group Policy to a custom Group

In Windows 7, I need to restrict write access to removable media for a particular group of users.  A group has been created in Computer Management, and users have been given membership to that group.

After opening mmc.exe and adding the Group Policy Object Editor snap-in, the GP Wizard opens and I hit Browse.  On the Users tab, there are local accounts, and the groups Administrators and Non-Administrators, but not my custom group.  I need to be able to add a custom group of users to this list so I can deny access to just them.  Is there another place I need to create this group?

Hi,

I have to say that there are only two groups that we can choose for local group policy, one is administrators group, another is non-administrators group. I would like to suggest you follow the link below to create a local group policy for each user:
