Arabic Number Format
in ssrs2005 when i need to change number format ot arabic i just set rhe property direction to Rtl and set report language to ar-eg every thing change to arabic format
in ssrs2008 i do the same but nothing happen
can any one help meAhmed Ekdawy

Hi Ahmed,
By default, the formats for date, currency and numbers are determined by the Report Server language at run time. If we need to override the formatting provided through the Report Server language, we can set the “Language” property within the report
when we design it.
From your description, when you set the “Language” property to “ar-EG”, it not meets your requirement. Could you please post me the expected result when you try to modify the “Language” property setting? If possible, please
post an example to explain your expected result.

i expect date format to be arabic and number are arabic
the arabic number are different than english i can't write it
after search i find property called numeral variant when i set it =3 it convert number to arbic
but it work for number come direct from databse but when i concatenate number with string i dosen't work it still english

Based on my research, the “NumeralVariant” property on Textboxes (in Reporting Services 2008) is intended to control which numeral glyph variant gets written into the output. Currently, it is only supported for numeric values, not DateTime.
