Hi alpha45,

I found your previous thread:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-performance/applicationresourcemanagement-initialization/49ad2dad-685a-43e6-8b06-91a7c90bc6b6

It seems to be that the issue insists since Windows 8.

And the error in the above thread is almost related with the Windows Store apps not activating successfully.

Reinstall should help here.

Based on your description, it seems that the system is not in good condition at many aspects.

Have you tried to re-create another user account and check the issue out?

If available, it is recommended to download the install media, then perform an upgrade install to repair the system. Make sure we backup the current system first before we start the upgrade.

Meanwhile, if available, try to reset the machine, or just perform a clean install, as the clean install is avaialable once the system is upgraded successfully from earlier version of Windows systems.

OK alpha45,

Thanks for the update.

I found a similar thread:

Event 341, 342 - ApplicationResourceManagement MRT WinRT APIs errors

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/6064cff0-1069-42f2-9500-7e6b5b27ec9a/event-341-342-applicationresourcemanagement-mrt-winrt-apis-errors?forum=w8itproperf

From the error description, it seems to be the cause is the app itself. For some missing values.

In the thread above it shared that this issue was caused by 3rd-party software, we may check under clean boot. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

Further, create a new account would initialize the Windows Apps and the related value, please check if the system would record the same errors under a newly created account.

Thanks for the answer, but this is a clean install without any third party software.
So if are apps that have problems, we expect it to be resolved.

Hi appha45,

OK.

If any further questions, please feel free to post back.

For the Windows App related issue, please check under a newly created account, meanwhile, run the command below:

Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Another thing is to make sure the install Media is well downloaded from the website below :
