Approach for Migrating from DataStage to SSIS ETL
Pls suggest an approach for migrating from IBM DataStage to SSIS ETL tool.

The short answer is rewrite your ETL process in SSIS. This is because I am not aware of any tool that can convert from DataStage to SSIS packages and migrating ETL solution is the last thing any vendor would care about. If you need more help then you need to tell what is involved in your current ETL e.g. any unique features or functionality.Arthur My Blog

In practice, try not to migrate existing processes. Unless your licencing landscape is forcing you to. The cost & risk are almost certainly going to outweigh the benefits. The best thing to do is build new processes in SSIS and integrate it with your existing control frameworks. Move chunks from Datastage as appropriate. It'll be a long process to eliminate Datastage entirely but it's the safer path.
