Hi,

Anyone knows what view to query for "user category" in SCCM 2012? we have specific category called "license" and wondering where I can find it along with application name in SQL DB?

Thanks

I would try one of those views (sorry can't test it right now)

v_UserTargetedApps

Lists each Configuration Manager application that has been deployed to a user. Includes the application ID (CI_ID), the collection to which the application has been deployed (if any), and whether the application requires approval.

This view can be joined to other views by using the CI_ID or CollectionID columns.

v_UserTargetedClassicApps

Lists each package and program that has been deployed to users. Includes the program ID, the category, the publisher, the package and program name and more.

This view can be joined to other views by using the ProgramIDPackageID, or CollectionID columns.

Thank you for the info but unfortunately I don't have any of these views in my DB. Do you know if they are from specific SCCM version? Ours is SCCM 2012 R2 SP1, it might be by different name?

thanks

My bad, I was looking at the CAS.. it exists on PRI.. thanks. I still would like to see SQL query on CAS if possible,  to search for apps with custom "user category".

Yes, all our managements like deployments, package/application creations, reporting, collection creations everything is done on CAS.

Then I don't know why.. You might want to open a support call with CSS to find out why.
