Any risk(s) to my running SharePoint servers if I restarted my SQL Server ?

Forum,

If I kept my WFEs and APPs servers running, and restarted my SQL server - Will there be any issue/risks or losing data or crashing service applications?

Of course, I understand that the sites and SharePoint generally will be offline till the SQL comes back. But I am worried sick about the Distributed Cache service and the other service applications.

What do you think ?

I do this all of the time. There are no issues with doing this.

That data is held in-memory on the servers running DC, right.
