Announcing Windows SteadyState!
We are excited to announce that today Windows SteadyState is available in English, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish on the Microsoft Shared Access Site. SteadyState is designed specifically to help PC administrators in schools, Internet cafs, and libraries keep their shared computers running smoothly. Offered as a free of charge download to Windows Genuine Advantage customers, SteadyState provides you with an easy way to keep your Windows XP computers secure and reliable.
We have taken direct feedback from our customers and beta participants, and have made SteadyState even easier to use and more secure than version 1 (the Shared Computer Toolkit). Some of the enhancements include:
