Hi all, I am displaying some announcements in my home page. When annoucements displaying its contents they are displaying date and time (Modified column), but I want only date not the time to be displayed. Please tell me how can I do this.

Hi, you can use calculated columns, by using the formula = TEXT(Modified, "DD-MM-YYYY"). "Modified" holds the Date and Time. You can edit your view to show only the newly added calculated column. Thanks Patrick, It worked, but it is displaying in a table format when I choose my custom column. I need to display my announcements in title and Description model (One by One). Simply I need custom column should be displayed in Summary View.

Hi, if I understood you well, you want to put this value on the overview of your announcements. After you created the column, go to your WebPart and modify it. Under list view go to Edit the current view.
