I am trying to add the Announcements and Event webparts to the Portal but they do not appear in the Webpart list when I try to add them. Anyone know why this is? J.

If you deleted Announcements list from your site then it won't appear in webpart list.What about Event webpart, is this also a custom list in your site. Thanks & Regards, Neerubee

I want to add the announcements and Events webpart to the list of webparts on the page. If I go to a page that is using the Team Template I can select the announcements or Events from the list of webparts for these pages. I just want to be able to do this selection for another page. J.

What type of page it is, if it is a web part page you can add. And where this page exists, it is also under Team Site or in other site.Thanks & Regards, Neerubee

Neerubee, I logged in as administrator and I can add them this way. J.
