Analytics and reporting for SP2007 recommendations?
1) Site activity (what is beeing accessed by whom and at what times?) Use netinsight tool, or a tool which reads IIS log file and will provide you this information. 2) Active users per month, detailed infromation This also you can get from IIS log file using a tool similar to netinsight 3) Most popular search terms, viewed pages and documents Popular search terms can be found from SSP > Search usage Report 4) Most content populated "Sites" 5) Important: automated reports. 6) And of course easily customizable reports with nice UI. Netinsight reports can be customised. For point number 4 and 5 I'm not sure, will research a little bit. Thanks & Regards, Soumyadev | Posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Hello community, I've been searching for a cutsom reporting tool. The tools that I found interesting: - Nintex Reporting 2008 - CardioLog First of all this tool should be suited for intranet use. I looked at Urchin and Webtrends as well, but they dont have so much demos /screenshots on their pages. What is your experience with reporting tools? Have you used Urchin or Webtrends for an intranet SP2007 portal? Could you recommend something? Here are some of the things that I would like to show: 1) Site activity (what is beeing accessed by whom and at what times?) 2) Active users per month, detailed infromation 3) Most popular search terms, viewed pages and documents 4) Most content populated "Sites" 5) Important: automated reports. 6) And of course easily customizable reports with nice UI. Many thanks! cheers

Hello! Have you tried the Google Chart API? Interestingly, if you need to build graphics. http://sharepointjavascript.wordpress.com/2010/05/04/interactive-charts-using-google-visualization-api/ I hope that helps!Juan Pablo. surpoint.blogspot.com jpussacq.me @jpussacq
