An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request
We are running Office SharePoint 2007. Some of sites get below error. Some one says it is Project Web Access issue, but we didn't install PWA. We didn't import or restore it. It was working. Someone says it could be permission issue. When try to search
AllItems.aspx in whole C drive (https://localhost:89/CSCI-WLAF/Lists/Issues/AllItems.aspx), I doesn't see it. Where is the AllItems.aspx?

Hello,
I think following links will help you understand and troubleshoot the issue.
See for the errored feature; search with the feature GUID that you are getting in error message
http://www.thorprojects.com/blog/archive/2007/05/16/list-of-features-with-guids.aspx
See for the workaround:

Thank you for the tip. Based on the guide, it is project issue. After talking to the client, I found they installed Project Documents by following this how to:
How to Create a Project Page in Office SharePoint Server 2007
For a test, I can create a new Project folder without any issues. Assume this is the way they created Project fodler, how do you fix it?Bob Lin, MS-MVP Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on

More information. I searched the Internet and found one resolution. It says:
This feature ID points to "Project Workspace Collaboration Lists". Could it be that you deactivated on the site? If that is the case I would try to activate it; or forcely activate it.
To activate the "Project Workspace Collaboration Lists" feature go onto the workspace site, and select "Site Actions" -> "Site Settings" -> "Site features" (under "Site Administration") -> find "Project Workspace Collaboration Lists" and click activate
But I don't have "Project Workspace Collaboration Lists". I have "Team Collaboration Lists" which is active. "Office SharePoint Server Standard Site features" and "Translation Management Library" was deactive. After I activate them, I still get the same
error when click Project documents.
I can't activate one feature that is "Office SharePoint Server Publishing". If I try to activate it, I get this message: "One or more features must be turned on before this feature can be activated. Office SharePoint Server Publishing
Infrastructure Provides centralized libraries, content types, master pages and page layouts and enables page scheduling and other publishing functionality for a site collection".Bob Lin, MS-MVP Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on

Hello,
I am not very good at project server and its integration with WSS but following MSDN article URL seems help you with this regards . Kindly navigate to detemine that the project server is installed and is integrated properly with WSS
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms503640(office.12).aspx
Look closely from section: Procedure 1: To determine whether a SharePoint site can use a project workspace template:

To date the original poster hasn't quite said that he has Project Server.
If he does, I'll move the thread to a project Server forum where there will be more people with the required expertise.

Thanks for correcting me Mike..:-)
Your correction will definately help Chicagotech lead in proper direction of troubleshooting and move the post to proper discussion group once he confirm about the Project server involvement.

Sorry if it seemed like a correction. I was just using your post as something to hang the question to about is he using Project Server or not. I've been confused on that from the start (see the comment I made to the Move in the first post here).

No, we don't have Project server. that is confused me. Why does it ask for WPS? Can I copy WPS features from other SharePoint server and active it in this server?
I did try it and this message:
Microsoft Windows [Version 5.2.3790]
(C) Copyright 1985-2003 Microsoft Corp.
H:\>stsadm -o activatefeature -name "PWSIssues" -url "http://voyager:88" -force
Feature '60d1e34f-0eb3-4e56-9049-85daabfec68c' is not installed in this farm, an
d can not be added to this scope.

>Can I copy WPS features from other SharePoint server and active it in this server?
There are two requirements.
a) you are licensed for the product you are copying from.
b) your system includes all the functionality that the original system includes.
In a typical example you hit both a) and b) if you try to "borrow" something from another company's MOSS 2007 Enterprise installation and install it in your MOSS 2007 Standard installation. (or MOSS - any - to WSS 3.0)
In your case the error message is indicating b) and in this case it might just be that something added to the original system (a feature) hasn't been added to your system (or that you have different products/versions).
(This isn't I'm afraid moving us further with the original problem, but you asked.)

OK, I fixed some of them. After I copied WPA and WPS from one SharePoint server to the problematical server and activate them. Issues, Ricks and Deliverables folders
work now. Only Project Documents doesn't work with these new messages:
