An ADO-based application that is compiled in Windows XP but does not run in Windows 7

Hi all,

I have read online that there is a solution for ADO-base application to work from top-down level, i.e, Win 7 to Win XP etc. However, I would like to know is there a solution to solve a bottom-up level problem for ADO application to work. A short background story, I'm now working on a VB6 project which is running perfectly fine in Win XP ver. However, when I move my project from XP to Win 7 SP1 (Enterprise Version), and I tried to recompile it, I got the "xx_deprecated" error.

I learn that using msado60_Backcompat.tlb is able to solve the top-down issue. So what about bottom-up? Does this method works too? Hope any gurus here can advise on me this issue. Thank you very much.
