Allow Users to Create Surveys
MOSS 2007: I just realized that I, as the SharePoint Admin, am the only user who is able to see the "Create" button in lists. That's good, but I would like to allow my users to create their own surveys. How can I accomplish this without allowing them to create calendars, etc.? Thanks.

You could create a custom list where the user enters the name of the survey they need to create alongwith any other relevant information. Once they save that list item a custom workflow executes and 1) creates a blank survey 2) assigns design permissions to the user on that survey and sends them an email saying that the survey is now available for them to modify/add questions.

I like this idea, Neville, but I need some assistance. I created a Custom List. I'm not sure of the next steps to take. I appreciate your help.

Hi Hemendra. I need a bit more help with this. What do you mean by "use sharepoint object model?" I am not a programmer, unfortunately. I can follow direction, though. Can you be more specific? Thank you.
