All Windows Clients group doesn't actually include All Windows Clients
In the computers area of SCE console, the numbers for my groups just don't add up. I expect that the number of systems listed in "All Windows Computers" (366) should equal the sum of the clients and servers groups, but it doesn't. All Windows Clients shows 165. All Windows servers shows 47. The servers count is pretty close, but the all windows clients count is way off. I have specific examples of clients that I find listed under all computers, that show as running windows 7 enterprise, but aren't listed in all windows clients. While I've only found a few, I expect there are maybe 100ish not showing up correctly. What would cause that?

Hello Gai-jin, Please check the following tread, which disscussed a same issue: Client Computer listed in All Computers but not in All Clients http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/systemcenter/thread/B81EB75F-C97A-44C3-9CA4-37D5B98D2A90 It seems like a bug of the SCE Network Device MP. Please delete all Network Devices from Administration space -> Device Management -> Networked Devices. And then download and install the latest version of Network Device Monitoring Library MP from the link below. Reinstall agents to see if the issue resolved. Microsoft System Center Network Device Monitoring Management Pack for System Center Essentials 2007 SP1 (KB960569) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8200e405-f871-4f19-a991-0411285fcbe5&displaylang=en Thanks,Yog Li TechNet Community Support
