All Users search scope issue
In one of my recent FIM installations, the "Contains" function for Display Name does not work during an All Users search. The default search criteria is: Display Name contains xxx Account Name starts with xxx E-mail Alias starts with xxx When I open Advanced Search and change Display Name "contains" to Display Name "starts with" the query succeeds. Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem before. I've worked around the issue for now by adding First Name and Last Name to the All Users - Attributes Search list. Brian

If you need help determing whether full text indexing is enabled (like Brian suggests): http://setspn.blogspot.com/2010/09/case-of-new-attributes-that-didnt-want.html http://setspn.blogspot.com
