Our DPs (156) were functioning correctly up until around the time of Client update to sccm 2012 r2 sp1 cu1.  Then we noticed large network spikes from computers to our primary server dp.  Looking through the datatransferservice.log I see Error sending DAV request. HTTP code 403, status 'Forbidden' DataTransferService 8/18/2015 7:05:35 PM 4740 (0x1284)

IIS shows the following.  Once I remove the two entries and run iisreset, the error goes away, packages are downloaded from the dp in question and the network spike drops.  But how did this happen? Is there another means of correcting these besides one by one, as I have 156 dps?

ConfigMgr did not do this and thus were created outside of ConfigMgr. I don't if this is auditable though -- that's a much better question for an IIS forum.
