Alerts not working on sites created out of an customized site template.
I have a problem with alerts from lists in sites that are created out of an customized site template. If the user is owner of the site it works just fine. But other users just gets the first confirmation mail but no alerts when something changes in the list. On sites created out of standard site templates the alerts works just fine. Mindy Kelly had the same problems as stated in this blogpost ( http://vspug.com/mindykelly/2007/08/01/alerts-not-working-in-moss ) but that "solution" is just not good enough. //Jonas

Hi, According to your description, in my opinion, SharePoint doesn’t care about the account in AD. It just register the email address on the alert. You can use “View User Alerts” which works per site. So please check your user account is correct. Best regards David Hu
