Alerts count decreased in Operator Console after deleting Local system cookies
Perhaps those were alerts stuck in your cache (from the console). Check with another user account as well and see how many there are and if you can open those alerts. You also checked the time range from which youa re seeing alerts right? (it is a few buttons right from the Scope button). You could try to create a new alert view in your own workspace. In scom console go to My Workspace on the left hand side. Create a New - Alert view. Give it a name. Use default for everything except select the checkbox before "WIth specific Resolution State". Click the "specific" word link below it. In the wizard to select the resolution states go for the option below (select only specific resolution state) and select: Not Equals -> 255. and click ok ok ok. See what happens in that view.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

Hi All, I have installed SCOM Operator console on my jump box and created a shortcut to open. I saw 150+ alerts in my customized view "My Alerts". During my troubleshooting for an issue, I have deleted my Cookies from "c:\\Documents and Setting\<My Account>\Cookies\"... Few files were deleted and few could not... After this when I saw my "My Alerts" view, I am surprised to see only 20 alerts present in that view. I have checked the "Scope", views.. all are correct. I have re-added my "Account Name" in Operator role. But still the alert count is less... New alerts coming to the console are getting listed... Can some one help me to resolve this issue? How can I get all the Alerts in "My Alert" view? Note: I am using SCOM 2007 R2. Also I can see 150 plus alerts in "My Alerts" view from RMS. Regards, Suresh
