Alerts
My alert for a list is set up to email me (immediately) upon any changes and upon adding new items. The alerts are not reaching me when I add new items although I did get a notification that the alert was created successfully. Can you help? Thanks. Dave

What about alerts when you change any item? Have you tried setting up alerts for some other list/library and tested? Have you tried with some other users in the same list - if they get the alerts... Have you ensured that you logged in as the user attached to the e-mail account? I've experienced similar problems when using another login and using a secondary e-mail box. Best regards, s'

Did you try resetting the timer jobs? If not reset timer jobs using stsadm command on all servers in the server farm. -o setproperty -propertyname alerts-enabled -propertyvalue false -url https://sitename.com -o setproperty -propertyname alerts-enabled -propertyvalue true -url https://sitename.com -o setproperty -propertyname job-immediate-alerts -propertyvalue "every 5 minutes" -url https://sitename.com--Cheers
