Alerts
Hi, I see that the number of Alerts that show up in the Active Alerts view on MS is different from the number of alerts that show up if i open the Console on RMS, I dont know which one to trust, and why is this happening. All my agents report to MS .I generally never open console on RMS , but if i know that everything i see in the console comes from DB through RMS, It should not matter where i open the console , as the data should be consistent. We are on SCOM 2007 R2 CU4, I am the SCOM Admin and views have not been scoped .

Hi Did you try Mats other suggestion - starting both the consoles with the /ClearCache switch. E.g. From an elevated cmd prompt (assuming windows 2008): c:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007\Microsoft.MOM.UI.Console.exe" /clearcache Cheers GrahamView OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

Yes Graham , that was the first thing i tried. This thing is causing confusion among the admins as if one opens the console on a different server he see's different data , which may be the subset of what i see on my console. Any other thing that you all can think may cause this

Hi, You could also make sure you dont have a performance issue, that could be a reason that data loads slow, reads slow from the database.Anders Bengtsson | Microsoft PFE | blog at http://www.contoso.se
