Agent Install Issue - PLEASE HELP
I'm new to SCOM 2007 and am having a problem locating a definitive solution for one a few issues that we currently have with our SP1 build. We have about 7 web servers that run from our DMZ, three of which are in a workgroup. Recently,
from some reason unbenounced to me; data reporting has stopped. The agents are listed as being healthy, however; if you view this same machine under the "Computers" section in the "Monitoring" tab, it shows as being in a Not Monitored state.
Naturally, I attempted a repair on one of the agents as an initial troubleshooting option. When I run the repair, it looks as if it starts and is working under "Pending Management" and then eventually fails. After digging through the event logs,
I found that each time I run the repair, I receive the following error:
The MOM Server could not execute WMI Query "Select * from Win32_OperatingSystem" on computer XXXX.
Operation: Agent Install
Install account: ROOT\XXXXXXX
Error Code: 80070005
Error Description: Access is denied.
I am in dire need of some assistance with this. Please help!
