Not sure why, after installing SCCM 2012 SP1, I am now getting this error over and over. My sms_notification_server log says this over and over....

Site Component Manager failed to install this component, because the Microsoft Installer File for this component (bgbisapi.msi) could not install.

And my bgbsetup.log looks like this...

 Nothing I do seems to change its state or install the component.  Any ideas?

Worth looking at bgbisapiMSI.log and check for "return value 3" the exact error must be somewhere above this ....

Also, check whether there is some issue with .net installation ...

Checked for "return value 3" in the bgbisapimsi.log.  It wasn't listed anywhere.  How would I know if there was an issue with .NET that would pertain to this?

Got any solution for this? Even I am facing same issue. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are no solutions presented here (in this forum) that will allow my Notification Server to install.

I have the very same issue as you. Have you been able to resolve this yet ?
