After editing web.config, still cannot upload files over 50MB
I've been at this for days and I've found a large number of guides, including those referenced here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sharepointadmin/thread/0a1674c8-9ff0-4609-b483-64954a3fb98d And here: http://www.getsharepoint.com/blogs/bw/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=16 I've followed every step to the letter - changing settings in CA and adjusting web.config files till im blue in the face. Unfortunately, I am still unable to upload anything over the default 50MB level. Do I need to reset IIS (which I think I've already tried)? Reboot the server? Any help is most appreciated!

You shouldn't need to restart the server. What error (if any) are you getting when you try and upload? Have you tried using the upload mulitple files option and only then selected the one file?

Hi Steve, Try increasing your default chunk size of large files by trying this STSADM command: Stsadm.exe –o setproperty –pn large–file–chunk–size –pv <size in bytes> Also, I think you should definitely have a look at the links below, as they talk about the same issues for uploading files above 50 MB: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/5c9c12ae-68e0-4cfb-9ee9-9d699dec524e http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/836e425c-93a6-4d22-852c-9aa50fa362af Hope this helps you.BR, PM
