Admin access when forms authentication on sharepoint
Hi everyone,I'm fairly new to Sharepoint, i'm catching up fast (reading + experimenting) but i can't seem to get around this....I have a web application with its respective site collection and sites, i have anonymous access allowed for all the sites with forms authentication. Everything is working fine but i don't know how to login with the administrator account from the internet. With Windows auth you have the "login" link and you just have to use your admin credentials, how can i do that with forms auth??Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When the Web application is first created, the application pool identity is granted Full Read permissions on the Web application for all zones. For the Default zone, access is controlled by the primary site collection administrator who was specified during the creation of the site collection at the root of the Web application. For the extended zone, you have to add a specific user with Full Control on the Web application to enable initial logon to the site collections and to perform administrative tasks. To add a user, click Add Users on the Policy for Web Application page on central administration site, and select a zone. Run the People Picker and resolve the name of the user. you can add site collection administrator in this way - Add user to the membership provider (e.g. aspnetdb ) to which you assigned the forms authentication Assign the user to be a site collection administrator Open your Central Administrator and click on the application management tab, under the SharePoint Site Management click on the Site collection administrators. In the site collection list select the site in which you have enabled the forms authentication. And add the primary site collection administrator and secondary site collection administrator; this will get the users from the aspnetdb which you assigned for forms authentication.
