Admin$ share disabled issue on Client
Hi We have figured out machines which are not reporting to console. while performing WMI repair we have figured out Admin$ share is disabled on few machines. Now in order to fix the issue we need to list out machines which have Admin$ share disable and fix them up. Is there anyway we can use script to identify affected machines.

I would say that Settings Management is the way forward. ConfigMgr. do not require access to Admin$ (only the client push installation method).Kent Agerlund | My blogs: blog.coretech.dk/kea and SCUG.dk/ | Twitter: @Agerlund | Linkedin: Kent Agerlund | Mastering ConfigMgr 2012 The Fundamentals

Hi, I would use a startup script to asssist in the process, the one from Jason Sandys actually enables the admin$ share if it is not enabled: http://blog.configmgrftw.com/?page_id=349 And here is a vbscript that will enable admin$ share:http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/rtrent/archive/2006/11/20/remotely-enable-admin-shares.aspx Regards, Jrgen-- My System Center blog ccmexec.com -- Twitter @ccmexec

Yes http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/b1a4fe06-c947-4b46-ac86-82033b4ec854 . You can also use a group policy to just enable (and enforce) the admin shares.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com
