Adding mixed mode SQL authentication
Hello,
We have our Configuration Manager SQL Server instance setup on the same box that Configuration Manager 2007 is installed on. We have a need to connect one of our webservers to the SCCM database and our SQL administrator would like to know if we can add a
SQL Server authentication method without any ill effects. We have never had SQL issues with this setup and I'd prefer to keep it that way.
I could not find a definitive answer on if doing this would cause problems after everything is installed and working, however it seemed to be frowned upon setting up SQL mixed mode at install time.
Thanks for any clarification on this,
Dave
