I am struggling to put Key filters and List view of a Library on a page. But I don't see Key filters web part when I try to add a web part.

Is there an option for adding Key filters web part to other page.

This page has a list view of the library. Both Library list view and Key filters should be connected together in the way as Key filters and the Library works together.

When I tried to edit page through SharePoint designer it does not show Key Filters web part.

If you meant the Key Filters option available by Library Settings, Metadata Navigation Settings, and then adds the Classification column to the Selected Key Filters Fields; its not a web part. It is a User control called MetadataNavKeyFilters.ascx

You can find the physical file in the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES .

I too would love to see an answer to this question. 

I have a doc lib that I have created.  I have Key Filters set up correctly and it shows up when I view this document library in the doc library "native" view. 

With this doc lib added as a web part within a web page the Key Filters dialog window will not display.

Is there any way to trigger the Key Filters dialog to display?

I know this is an old posting, but I am looking for the same answer.  Any luck?
