I'm trying to implement a shared email repository in MOSS that can be easily connected to Outlook 2007. I've created a Document library on a site and connected that to outlook, but that only gives me access to view the files. I'm looking for functionality to be able to drag/drop emails from a users inbox into the SharePoint Document library and have the email added to the library. I know that its easy to open/modify Office files that are already in the Doc Lib, but that's not good enough for me. Has anyone had any luck adding files to a document library from Outlook 2007?

As you may notice, drag and drop Outlook mail to SharePoint folder is not (yet)available. Even though it is difficult to move e-mails from Outlook to a SharePoint list for collaboration, storage and search, you can always follow those steps. First you need to put Outlook email on the your desktop that will open a SharePoint list and then you can drag and drop e-mails into the proper folder. If you want to eliminate those steps into only one drag and drop, then you have to either write code or use tools SharePoint Outlook Integration . Hope this helps
