Based on my experience, I believe that you will break your SQL install by making the VM a domain controller now. In order to do this, you need to do a new VM, make the server a domain controller first (dcpromo) and then install the remaining applications.JD Wade, MCITP SharePoint Consultant, Horizons Consulting, Inc. hi, Sharepoint installation without AD is not supported case. You can try solution described here: Installing SharePoint without AD . But I would recommend you save your time and configure AD prior to install SharepointBlog - http://sadomovalex.blogspot.com Codeplex - http://camlex.codeplex.com

talhak, As you already have installed MOSS on your PC, now the installation of AD will not be integrated with MOSS. The Solution is: Take backup of you MOSS (Whatever you have developed), uninstall MOSS, install AD and make your PC a domain controller (dcpromo), Then reinstall MOSS and restore you backup of previous MOSS. Hope this will help.
