Access to sharepoint
Hi all,
I have a problem with importing data from access to sharepoint. I have a few tables in access that are filtered by view. For example a sales person with name "Mark" can only see his sales. He cannot see the sales of others. The table has sales of all the
sales persons but based on who logs in , it displays only their sales data.
I am trying to import this table into sharepoint. But in sharepoint the sales person is able to see the sales of all the people and not his alone. How do i change it so that he can see only his sales data
Thanks

Nirmal,
For the list that you have imported data into, can you do the following?
Open
the list that you want to configure.
On
the Settings menu, click List
Settings.
On
the Customize page, in the General Settings column,
click Advanced settings.
n
the List Advanced Settings page, in the Item-level Permissions section,
under Read Access, select Only their own.
On
the List Advanced Settings page, in the Item-level Permissions section,
under Edit Access:Only their own.
Click
ok.
